ONE NIGHT in HEAVEN2
Canberra’s legendary HEAVEN Nightclub returns for one spectacular night of music, memories, and magic.
Whether you danced through the 90s and 2000s or heard the stories from those who did, this is your chance to relive the glory days—or experience them for the first time.
Expect a full night of Heaven DJs spinning the best dance anthems, club bangers, and techno-house beats. Drag Kings and Queens will light up the stage with dazzling performances, alongside live acts, psychedelic visuals, and tributes to the carefree spirit of the rave era.
This is more than a party—it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the freedom to be yourself. From the Bak Bar to the main decks, Heaven was the heart of Canberra’s dance scene, and for one night only, it’s back to remind us why.
Two generations. One unforgettable reunion.
We’ll see you on the dance floor

THIS IS HOME : A MONT FILM NIGHT
'This Is Home' is an immersive environmental film and conversation night presented by Mont.
Across stories of eucalyptus forests, alpine rivers, and the Snowy Mountains, the night explores the pressures placed on wild places and the choices we face to protect them.
Setting the tone of the night is Mont’s documentary, Softly Spoken, which threads together the values that guide Mont: respect for the wild, decisions made with integrity, and a commitment to safeguarding wild places for the future.
Together, the films, conversations, and Mont’s story create an immersive experience that asks us to reflect on what is lost, and what can still be protected.
DNA Laundry by flutterbry
100+ sculptures. 1,000 orphaned Kmart laundry lids. Countless cable ties.
An extraordinary exhibition of visual art by Canberra artist flutterbry (Bryan Fitzpatrick). Featuring over 100 sculptures made entirely from discarded plastic laundry hamper lids and cable ties, this collection transforms everyday waste into a vibrant world of creatures, flowers, and geometric forms.
A self-taught artist who began creating just two years ago, Bryan has already collected nearly 1,000 lids from local Kmart stores — rescued by sweet-talking homewares staff into handing over the pieces customers usually leave behind. These “orphaned” lids, otherwise destined for the bin, become DNA-like building blocks in a psychedelic ecosystem of colour and form — artworks that feel both organic and otherworldly.
This is only the second public showing of the DNA Laundry series, presented with a week-long program inspired by Bryan’s history as the owner of iconic Canberra nightclub Toast (2001–2007). The exhibition will feature DJs and live performances that echo the atmosphere of Toast two decades ago.
If you heART Toast — or simply want to be astonished by a burst of raw sculptural creativity — come and experience DNA Laundry. No psychedelics required.
